CJC-1295 with DAC is a modified growth hormone-releasing hormone analogue. The drug affinity complex, or DAC, was developed to extend its interaction with circulating proteins and prolong biological exposure.
Research has investigated CJC-1295 DAC for its ability to increase growth hormone and subsequently influence IGF-1 levels. Its pharmacology differs from short-acting GHRH analogues because of the extended exposure associated with the DAC modification.
CJC-1295 is not an established routine treatment for general growth enhancement. Changes in growth hormone and IGF-1 signaling can have metabolic consequences and require careful interpretation.
